Puffin Lodge is tucked away on a four-acre smallholding with an 18th-century farmhouse in the grounds, just outside Port Isaac. The timber lodge enjoys expansive views across the bay and surrounding countryside, offering a peaceful base for couples or families exploring North Cornwall.
The open-plan living area is filled with natural light, thanks to the French doors that open directly onto the garden. The kitchen, though compact, is well equipped with modern appliances, making self-catering straightforward. A generous dining table provides space for shared home-cooked meals, while the sitting area, furnished with plus leather sofas, offers a relaxed setting for films or quiet evenings with a book.
There are two inviting bedrooms, both designed with comfort and simplicity in mind, along with a contemporary shower room so you can start your day with a refreshing soak.
Outside, a patio provides a sunny spot for morning coffee, and guests also have access to a shared field where dogs can run around freely. The smallholding is home to goats, alpacas, chickens, ducks, and guineafowl, which younger guests will particularly enjoy. Two footpaths from the farm lead directly to the South West Coast Path, with its dramatic cliff-top walks and sandy beaches.
The nearby fishing village of Port Isaac is known for its narrow lanes and whitewashed cottages that lead down to a historic harbour, where rock pools are revealed at low tide. The village has a good selection of pubs, cafés, and restaurants, with local seafood a particular highlight.
